A symposium of railway signaling and communication specialists from Mongolia and China was organized. In July of this year, during his participation in the “12th World High-Speed Railway Congress” held in Beijing, China, Minister of Road and Transport of Mongolia B. Delgersaikhan visited the headquarters of the state-owned “China Railway Signal & Communication Corporation” Ltd. and held a business meeting on cooperation in the railway signaling and communication sector.

Following this meeting, at the invitation of the Railway Authority, a delegation led by Lou Qilian, Party Committee Secretary and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the corporation, visited our country from September 9 to 12, 2025. Within the framework of the visit, the two sides jointly organized a symposium of railway signaling and communication specialists from both countries.

During the meeting, the Mongolian side introduced the development plan and future goals of the railway sector, as well as the current signaling and communication systems of existing railways. The Chinese side provided an overview of China’s railway communication and signaling systems and introduced drone technology, sharing information and experiences.

The meeting was attended by professional engineering and technical personnel, staff, and employees in signaling and communication from the Ministry of Road and Transport of Mongolia, the Railway Authority, “Mongolian Railway” SOSC, “Ulaanbaatar Railway” JVC, “Tavantolgoi Railway” LLC, “Mongolian Trans Line” LLC, and the Railway University.

The “China Railway Signal & Communication Corporation” Ltd. has 18 branches and subsidiaries, more than 20,000 employees, and has supplied over 90% of the signaling and communication systems for China’s 48,000 km of high-speed rail, including the Beijing–Shanghai and Wuhan–Guangzhou high-speed railways. It is a national-level organization ensuring railway transport safety in China, leading in intelligent management technologies and railway transport monitoring systems. Internationally, it has participated in major railway projects such as the Jakarta–Bandung high-speed railway in Indonesia, the China–Laos railway, and the Hungary–Serbia railway.
