On September 12, 2025, the Director-General of the Railway Authority of Mongolia, Mr. B. Artur, held an online meeting with Mr. Alexander Gennadievich Sakharov, Head of the Federal Railway Transport Agency of the Russian Federation (Roszheldor).

During the meeting, both sides introduced their respective organizations and agreed to hold an in-person meeting in the near future to discuss in detail the strengthening of bilateral cooperation in passenger and freight railway transport, the development of railway production and infrastructure, and training of professional personnel.

Roszheldor is the federal agency responsible for developing and implementing railway transport policy, providing public services, and managing state-owned railway assets in the Russian Federation.
