Among them, the first to be implemented in the road and transport sector are two railway projects: a cross-border railway and a railway freight terminal, whose openings have been held, and construction work has begun and is progressing intensively.
Following the tasks and directions given by the Prime Minister, the leadership and staff of the Ministry of Road and Transport have been assigned the responsible duty to complete and commission major infrastructure projects within the set timeframes. Additionally, it was emphasized that the construction of the 102.5 km branch railway in the Bagakhangai–Khoshig Valley area plays a particularly important role in reducing traffic congestion and centralization in Ulaanbaatar city. Therefore, the Ministry of Road and Transport and its staff will continue to work diligently and with full effort.”
